The beautiful open weave texture of this linen gives it a light, airy opaque look, making it an excellent choice for apparel, intimate apparel, accessories, interior design projects and so much more. This cloth is 57 inches wide.

The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

Delicate scarf for hot summer days

Made a simple 1 yard square scarf. Laundered material for a few minutes in the machine with a tiny bit of Oxyclean to freshen. A few minutes in the drier. Cut off selvedges and cut to one yard square. Finished by picking off about 1/2 in of edge thread on all four sides. Done! A very airy feel with spacious wrap. Leaves room for air flow. Very pretty in Deep Sea Coral.

tricky but awesome

I admit I had some trouble managing this fabric during the making--it frayed on me and boy does it move. So my hems aren't exactly straight and I almost lost my 3/8" seam allowance at one spot. But I ended up with a jacket that is a dream to wear! I put it over a bleached 019 tank and walked on clouds! So 4 stars just because it was trickier than my tried and true 019...but if you're up to the challenge you won't regret it!

My friend's 4 year old was heading off to Pennsic, so this IL030 MISTY SAGE dress with SO IL030 DEEP SEA CORAL gores and accents was the perfect breezy dress to make. You can also see clearly the two different textures that IL030 tends to come in.

Love this sheer weight for light scarves. I did a scarf in the light weight linen, as well and I definitely prefer this sheer weight right now. However, this is during the hot summer in Georgia. I may prefer the heavier weight linen once winter comes around. I bought two yards of this sheer fabric to make three scarves. Two square ones (1 sqyd. each) and the ‘remnant' was the perfect size for a long scarf 20'' x 72''. Simply washed the entire piece first, lined dried, then ironed and cut the three scarves. Then frayed the edges.

I did what Frances did, and am super happy with my square scarf! Washed it once in hot water, with a hot dry and then cut a square and frayed the edges. I love it.!
