SAND Linen's full bodied saffron yellow was a favorite with French painter Maurice de Vlaminck, setting his paintings alight with warm, iridescent flames of color.
Central to Vlaminck's practice was the relationship between colors, which could express riotous outbursts of emotion, with his distinctive shade of mustard yellow playing a top note above the rest.

At a medium weight of 5.3 ounces this 59 inch wide 100% linen is versatile enough to be referred to as an All Purpose or Do it All linen. With its smooth look and tighter weave, this linen is neither sheer or heavy, but just the right in-between weight you will need for a variety of projects.

The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

Live the texture and color!

This was my first order from Fabric-Sore and I'm super happy with the quality of this fabric. The colors are rich and the dress came out just like it was supposed to! Thanks!

Made some pillows with this one and "Olive Branch" . . The colors are beautiful, so glad I found this shop online!

Very yellow but beautiful as a statement dress. I made it for fall family photos

"Morning glow" is my daughter's description of the new unlined Roman shades in her dining room, made ofIL019 Sand, softened (which she calls "mustard"). There's privacy but strong sunlight does filter through.

Beautiful color.

This photo better depicts the warm tone of the “Sand” color. I didn't notice how toned down my camera made the color seem until after posting the first pic.
