At a heavier weight of 7.1 ounces this 100% linen is referred to as Rustic due to its more textured look and feel. Durable and perfect for projects that require just a bit more substance.
The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

This fabric is what the US Army would use if they were making uniforms out of linen. Will never buy another linen without purchasing a sample. The screen descriptions and/or descriptions don't show the color accurately. I purchased 7 yards on sale; was really appalled when it arrived. I thought a washing might improve; so I did and can't return. Lesson learned.

This fabric is rich, beautifully woven, excellent color and a great weight. As with all your fabrics, it washes and dries with no fading and good shape. Teak pairs very well with so many colors but holds an extra excitement paired with teal and many other light blues. I plan on a pin tucked, winter duvet. I recommend your fabric to everyone! I thought this would be a dark, greenish brown from the swatch on my monitor but it is actually a lovely, deep, gray-brown that really takes you by surprise. It is serious and sophisticated and pairs well with many colors. I bought a half yard from the doggie bag section and have fallen madly in love with it. Will be buying a length of it for sure.
Wide leg pant with elastic waist and minimal ruffle top - loving this color way. When held next to a true green it looks grey, but next to a true grey the green tones shine.
I used a Tina Givens pattern and added 4 inches on the bottom, Love the color and feel of this fabric Goes with so many other Linen items I have made out of FS Linen. Terry
Lovely earthy rich brown color. The weight was perfect for these two pieces. Both modified Tina Given's patterns. The linen washes up beautifully and if pulled from the dryer still a bit damp, hardly wrinkles at all.
I used this to make the body of this clutch, and it sewed up very nicely! It cuts smoothly with rotary cutters and the color is nice and dark, and true to the picture.

FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that some of our darker or more vibrant shades will have some residual dye run off or bleeding. It is important that you launder or treat like colors with like colors so that you do not compromise the integrity of any other colors, fabrics or garments during the launder process.
We also suggest that if you are combining one or more of these types of colors with lighter colors that you pre-wash the linens seperately and once the item is completed do not launder again, but Dry Clean.
