Could you please help me. It seems like the front waist dart ends higher than the apex point on this dress. Is this correct? I need a large FBA for this dress but I am having hard time locating the apex on the pattern to adjust to mine. Any help is much appreciated. For reference I am trying to locate an apex on 16/18 size. Thank you
Hi there, is it correct that the front skirt part is wider than the back?
Here, it states that the pattern level is Beginner, but the blog post about the pattern lists it as an Intermediate pattern. I know most sewists can read the details of the pattern and discern whsat level it truly is/if they are ready to tackle it, but it would be helpful for true beginners to have more clarity and a pattern listed with the accurate or at least consistent level throughout your posts regarding ?

I downloaded the file opened it in adobe acrobat and am able to view but not print the attachments.

Hello, Sometimes printing from a computer, rather than a mobile device within the Adobe App, will do the trick. On some devices the App can interfere with printing.

I sewed this dress over the weekend (could have been one day - but I didn't have a zipper or buttons) and it came together so easily. I did a mockup first of the top and had to make some adjustments to the bust, but otherwise it was fantastic! I look forward to trying out some other patterns now.

Hi! I just sent you an email with the pattern pieces. The pattern pieces are included as an attached file to the main PDF you are opening. You would open the main PDF with Adobe. In the Adobe menu select View - Show/Hide - Navigation Panes - Attachments. Adobe pops open a side panel with the attached pattern pieces file :)

Instead of linen I used a chambray and it worked out very well.
Summer in Rome
I did a FBA using the tutorial on your website. It worked well. I added sleeves to make the dress British weather friendly. Also used a shirt collar instead to avoid raw edges on facing. Thank you for this free pattern.
