Customer Questions and Answers
I have purchased the linen for Marie Tunic. The PDF download has directions but no pattern pieces.
Hi! Once you opened the main pattern file - on the left-hand side, there will be a menu with Attachments. Click on the attached file, and those are the pattern pieces. We can help you better with where to click if you can email us what device you are using to access the file.
This is a really nice piece! Used IL020 in white. After reading the reviews I decided to make my size. It's roomy but that is okay. Love the feel of this linen and it's perfect for this! I will be making this again. This pattern is very workable and easy to follow. Simple pattern and style but the linen makes it feel so luxurious. I'm not stopping here. I need more of this in my life.
According to the size chart, I should have made the 8/10. After reading reviews, I cut the 4/6. I seriously could have made the 0/2 and still had lots of room. The neckline is way too low to wear as a tunic or dress without a tank or t-shirt under it. I actually made this to be a night gown, but now I'm thinking pool cover-up. The facing really isn't great. I think if I were to do this again, and I probably won't, I would make matching single fold bias tape instead of the facing. The linen is lovely. So I'm off to find a better nightgown pattern.
An easy pattern to follow. Thank you! I wanted oversize, but I think I'll go down one size for the next one. It still won't be snug in any way.
Is this still available on The Thread?
Hello, this pattern currently has the instructions in the .pdf download. If you would like any assistance with the steps, feel free to email us and we'd be happy to walk you through it.
I think the way you do your patterns in Adobe is very smart and convenient for me. But, for this pattern and the Paola pattern from a recent day, I do not see instructions as one of the layers. I prefer hard copy instructions over reading the tutorial on my notebook as I make the item. How do I find the printable instructions?
Hi! The tutorials have a print button where it can be printed so you have a hardcopy for reference as you sew instead of having to be on the iPad/Computer. I can't add an image of what button to look for here - but I will add it to the "Post Your Work" (right-hand corner of this page).
