Hi, I am really looking forward to making this pattern (I have the perfect pale pink linen for it). But the tutorial and instructions are no longer on The Thread Blog. Is there a way for me to get the instructions?
Hi! This particular pattern doesn't have a corresponding sewing tutorial. There are sewing instructions inside the PDF that you are downloading on page 7. We do have another Jumpsuit pattern that does have a sewing tutorial here : blog.fabrics-store.com/2019/11/28/sloan-fitted-jumpsuit-tutorial/ And you can always email us if you are stuck on a sewing step and we will do our best to walk you through it. Have a great weekend.
This pattern is so pretty! I only used it to make a top, so I extended it a little so it would reach my hips. My shirt now fits perfectly! It was my first 'big' sewing project and the instructions were detailed and easy to follow. Thank you!
Really enjoyed this make however the version I downloaded on 5th March 2019 still has instructions for skirt, so had to work out the trousers!
Hi! Thank you so much for the heads up - the wording is wrong in the sewing instructions - the attached pattern is correct. We are editing the wording to be for pants instead of the skirt and will upload the correction soon :)
A very attractive design. It took me a very long time to figure out how to print ALL the pages, and when I finally did get to print them all, it took even more time to assemble them as there were no page numbers... Can't wait to get on with it tho :-) Thanks again Fabris Store!
Good morning! We are happy to hear you like the pattern. This particular file only has the large format that is supposed to be printed at the print store like Kinkos on a roll so it is formatted 36"x 48". Since it is a continuous page - that's why they aren't numbered and what caught my eye in your comment. I reached out to the pattern maker to see if she has this pattern formatted to A4 size pages. I will have the answer shortly and email you. I am worried that if this format of 36"x48" was printed on A4 size pages - it might have skewed and won't give you the correct size once made. I'd like to make sure you get a wearable outfit so let me get this info for you before you cut into the fabric :)
Thank you for the quick fix about instructions issues!
Happy it was brought to our attention :)
The instructions are about attaching a skirt to the top.... The bottom isn't a skirt lol And no mention of how to attach the sleeve tie at all.
Thank you so much for bringing this to our attention! You are absolutely right - we've uploaded the wrong page - working to fix this now. Thank you! An update: Errors fixed - again HUGE thank you for pointing it out :)
