Beautiful yarn dyed linen.
This violet and black, medium weight. yarn dyed linen is even more beautiful than the picture. I am sure that it will be great to sew with.
Feels like luxury linen!
I could not express how wonderful this feels against the skin during the winter. Has such a crisp weighty drape that keeps you warm and dry during the cold days. I made a dress and look forward to making a blouse next. I´m so thankful for the great reviews. It helped me to take the plunge and place my order knowing I was going to be getting a fine quality linen.
Another Winner!
I now have two of this weight of fabric...880 and 884...and I am so in love with them. I made a summer shift with the 880 and a summer tunic with the 884. The fabric has a substantial weight, is somewhat nubbly, but has a lovely weight. The difference between the black and purple threads is noticeable but not ´in your face´, giving it a vibrant but understated, casual look...if that makes sense! Fabric Store, I do wish you would offer this style of fabric in different colors...think turquoise, blue, green. This fabric would look amazing with colored plaids...another style I wish you would carry.
Beautiful Linen
This is another beautiful linen from the yarn-dye collection. The cross dyed threads make it lively and interesting. The weight is a wonderful mid weight with a great drape. It washes beautifully, but is very soft from the start. Sign up for the emails to alert you to daily savings, it is so worth it!

This fabric is so beautiful! It is a dream to work with and super comfortable! I think I will buy more to make an other sort of garb with it. The bi-color looks amazing!

This is a cross weave of violet purple and black. It has a nice rustic texture and is just a bit heavier than the ILO19. Very nice quality. Not sure yet what I will make with it but will post a photo when I do.

Sorry for the clutter background. That being said, I'm pretty sure I just made my favorite dress out of this amazing quality linen. The fabric and the quality are truly outstanding. If I'm not careful, I could see myself making things all winter long, just out of this fabric alone! The feel is pure royalty and the hues are rich with depth and movement. I'm a beginner sewer for sure, but I do have to say, this fabric was forgiving with my newbie mistakes due to it's stiffness and drape all at once! Thank you fabric-store for making a novice sewer's wardrobe dreams come true:-)

FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that some of our darker or more vibrant shades will have some residual dye run off or bleeding. It is important that you launder or treat like colors with like colors so that you do not compromise the integrity of any other colors, fabrics or garments during the launder process.
We also suggest that if you are combining one or more of these types of colors with lighter colors that you pre-wash the linens seperately and once the item is completed do not launder again, but Dry Clean.
