Yarn Dyed 100% linens are made using linen threads that are dyed separately before being woven, allowing for a large variety of patterns and designs that stand out from the base fabric color.

Part of our Luxury Linen Collection this group is a finer middle weight linen that showcases a variety of chambray, stripes and plaids that can coordinate with each other.

Completing the luxurious look and feel is our exclusive "Premier Finish" which is smooth, agreeable to the senses and that perfect final touch that enhances the beauty of these exceptional linen yarn dyes.

The Premier Finish undergoes a two-step process to give the cloth a luxurious, supple feel right out of the box.

First, we apply a softener to give the fabric a silkier surface. Then, strong blasts of air are blown into the woven cloth. This beats up the fibers to make them softer and mimics the fiber bending process that the fabric undergoes when you've used it a lot.

This finishing process gives the fabric a much softer and more luxurious hand. It will be less prone to deep creases and have less linting. Shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration based on the fabric type ( thread size, count, weave type).

Stripes versatile and upscale your project!

When getting started here at Fabric Store, I'd sewn cotton and wool, but never linen. I purchased a sample, quite professional, but I wanted larger pieces to launder, and learn the best ways to sew it. I recommend the thread tutorials, and the wonderful step by step booklets that come with pattern tubes! I love playing with combinations, visible mending, and handwork of all types. Machine work on linen is easy and quick, not skipping tips like pressing seams produce professional, upscale items! I LOVE THIS LINEN!

Beautiful!

I bought a yard of this just to treat myself. I haven't used it yet but will make something nice, probably a simple shirt. It is so soft and the colors are true to the online photo. Perfect weight.

Finding small projects that provide variety with small amounts of linen, is a great way to take advantage of the smaller lengths and variety found on the doggie bags. I ALWAYS check DB when in shopping for larger project purchases. This three pocket cloth "wallet" makes a great sewing kit for travel. All parts of it came from purchases made individually for under a dollar! And lots more left for multiple finished items! I always prewash on hot rinse cold and dry on hot for maximum shrinkage. Stabilizes the linen, making it easier to work with, and see. Etsy/Cottoneyedjo
