A unique version of this color, more of a breen (brown+green) shade and a popular alternative to the typical yellow-green tone usually associated with this color.
At a medium weight of 5.3 ounces this 59 inch wide 100% linen is versatile enough to be referred to as an All Purpose or Do it All linen. With its smooth look and tighter weave, this linen is neither sheer or heavy, but just the right in-between weight you will need for a variety of projects.
The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

Absolutely wonderful color. Can't wait to start my project with OLIVE. It is true to color on screen and an inviting, rich olive brown. I have been a customer since 2011 and can't say enough about their fabric and customer service. Prices are good but see them creeping up which makes it challenging in the \"recession\" days. I have decided what I am going to make with Olive...but have the suit picked out for GINGER. Sure wish they would have more sales with 20 to 25% off...helps all of the addicted to purchase more!!!

This was a great fabric to work with. I made a 16th century Elizabethan gown for Northern California re-enactment events and it was easy to work with and looks great as a gown. Washes and irons really well and holds pleats beautifully. The color was far more earthy than I expected and is more brown than green depending on the light and which colors it's paired with. All in all, I'm very happy with this fabric!

FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that some of our darker or more vibrant shades will have some residual dye run off or bleeding. It is important that you launder or treat like colors with like colors so that you do not compromise the integrity of any other colors, fabrics or garments during the launder process.
We also suggest that if you are combining one or more of these types of colors with lighter colors that you pre-wash the linens seperately and once the item is completed do not launder again, but Dry Clean.
