great texture
Reviewer: Merideth

Really beautiful color and texture, great weight. I made a pair of pants, and they do get stretched out at the knees over a day's wear, but they wash great and the fabric is durable.

Great all purpose color
Reviewer: Carla

I love this linen for making pants for my shop. My son also wears these pants often and loves them. The fabric is so soft, not itchy, and gets softer every time we wash it. Www.gypsyandfree.etsy.com

Easy to quilt
Reviewer: Denise

Used this fabric to make a simple lightweight quilt for our travel trailer. Used unbleached muslin for underside. Was very easy to hand quilt. Love the rustic look and it matches my new poodle puppy's fur color!

Love this product
Reviewer: Morag

This was my first order of the "rustic" weight linen and it's lovely. I used it for a pair of breeches for historical re-enactment, and it works so well. The breeches are soft and comfortable, but heavy enough to drape properly. I'll definitely be getting more of this weight!

Beautiful fabric and color
Reviewer: Victoria

This color is rich and warm, and reminds me of the color of coffee sacks or monk's robes. The fabric is supple, so it moves beautifully.

Excellent Color
Reviewer: Bari

I have purchased this color and weight many times over. It is exactly what it says it is - ginger. The slubbing is great on 4c22 if you are looking for re-enactment clothing. That is what I make and it is quite popular thus the reason I buy it over and over. Very good quality.

Awesome Fabric!
Reviewer: Kit

With everyone on the 'burlap' wagon I wanted something much softer and more upscale ... this color is positively delicious ... a deep rich caramel ... ideal for throw pillows, clothes, drapes, etc. You will not be disappointed!

Perfect curtains
Reviewer: Anonymous

This fabric has good body for curtains, but is soft enough not to be too formal. I love the "rusticness" of the weave for an article that is not too rustic, but just enough to make things great for an guest/office. I am so glad I found your online store!

Love this color! If you're looking for a perfect autumn color, but also a great neutral to pair with many items, this is it. I call it “Carhartt brown,” because it's basically the exact color of Carhartt overalls and jackets.

The kimono style jacket here is made from this heavy weight ginger linen- so lovely, weighty, yet draped and breathable. Soft flexible fabric but heavy enough to not add a lining.

I made this jacket using Victoria Jones Collection pattern #230. Outer fabric is 4C22 Ginger and lining / trim is a IL022 scarlet yarn dye. I used 2 yards of each fabric. The jacket is substantial in weight yet supple--very cozy. I also made this jacket using two layers of medium weight linen (reviewed on the IL051 - 881 page) which was similar in weight.

We are a group of reenacters and performers at the Bristol Renaissance Faire who use the heavy weight ginger linen exclusively for our uniform doublets. It wears very well, and is comfortable doing the work we do in 90 degree heat and humidity in front of thousands of people!

etsy.com/your/shops/AptosBeach/stats/listing/155025970# I love working with the 4C22 linen and the ginger has been a popular color with my customers. At Christmas a classroom of Seattle Moms commissioned one of my cross back Pinafores for their children's teacher. The one hundred percent linen is perfect for the apron, it drapes beautifully and seems to fit everyone, although I do offer 4 sizes, and a whole array of colors from Fabrics-Store.com. Thanks, AptosBeach.etsy.com, Linda
