century avant-garde, Goncharova was wildly inventive and prolific,
working across a huge range of styles, techniques, and mediums to produce
some of the most important works in the history of art. But pulling all
her ideas together was a deep love for her Russian heritage, which she
celebrated throughout her long and prolific career through her own
language of vital colors and stylized motifs.
At a medium weight of 5.3 ounces this 59 inch wide 100% linen is versatile enough to be referred to as an All Purpose or Do it All linen. With its smooth look and tighter weave, this linen is neither sheer or heavy, but just the right in-between weight you will need for a variety of projects.
The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

Another wonderful piece linen ! I have ordered quite a few times and every piece I have received has been even nicer than I could imagine. Great colors, a good selection of weights and very nice quality!
I haven't prepared this fabric for sewing or even decided what to make with it, but I love the color and the texture. Hope I can make up my mind soon!
It's a very pale blue grey. I made a pair of lounge pants using 1.5 yards from a doggie bag.
A Cameron (sort of) in feather with a ribbon insert. This is not really light grey, nor light blue - Somewhere in between, and really fabulous
I made a pair of Men's pajamas using the Free Devin Pattern. I shortened the sleeves and made a matching pair of shorts too. This fabric is really nice and soft and breathable for summer!
This is by far my favorite of all the new greys that Fabrics-Store has released this year! It's almost a light blue. I've made it into their Charlie shorts, and have plans to sew the rest into a summer version of their Devin Pajamas pattern. Paired here with my IL019 Asphalt top.

FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that some of our darker or more vibrant shades will have some residual dye run off or bleeding. It is important that you launder or treat like colors with like colors so that you do not compromise the integrity of any other colors, fabrics or garments during the launder process.
We also suggest that if you are combining one or more of these types of colors with lighter colors that you pre-wash the linens seperately and once the item is completed do not launder again, but Dry Clean.
