Andy Warhol loved red. From high heeled shoes to blooming flowers and
celebrity portraits, shades of blazing fire lit up his iconic artworks
and made them pop. The pink crimson of Firecracker Red linen was one of
his favourites, appearing as inky, infused washes, bloodshot stains and
patches of flat pattern, a colour that could celebrate decadent power as
much as the darker side of life.
A finer quality 5.3 ounce medium weight 58 inch wide 100% linen that is woven with finer threads, and an increased thread count. The higher thread count makes 1C64 shrink less and gives this linen a very smooth and luxurious look and feel, earning it the moniker "luxury linen".
The cloth is Softened so we have added a softener to give it a silkier hand. The fabric has not been laundered so shrinkage will still have to be taken into consideration (shrinkage depends on fabric weave and laundering method).

I decided to purchase whatever came in "next" on a deep discount, and purchased three yards of this beautiful red at your last 55% off. I didn't expect much color-wise, and wasn't sure about the fabric itself. What a surprise I was in for!!! The color is an amazing true red, possibly slightly on the orangey side, but not really; it is well balanced. It will be a perfect tablecloth for July 4, Christmas and Valentines, assuming I don't confiscate it for a dress! I may need more, and red isn't particularly my favorite color. I expected to be disappointed, but just can't be!!! This has not been washed yet, but the weave is fine and silky. I don't expect it to give me any trouble.
Beautiful red. Prettier in real life. Nice hand and easy to sew.

FABRIC CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Please note that some of our darker or more vibrant shades will have some residual dye run off or bleeding. It is important that you launder or treat like colors with like colors so that you do not compromise the integrity of any other colors, fabrics or garments during the launder process.
We also suggest that if you are combining one or more of these types of colors with lighter colors that you pre-wash the linens seperately and once the item is completed do not launder again, but Dry Clean.
