My first order of linen just arrived and I wanted to say thank you for the wonderful service. Ordering online was a very easy process and the colours you have displayed on the website are very similar to the swatches that arrived in the box.

Fabric : IL019 OLIVE Softened
This was a great fabric to work with. I made a 16th century Elizabethan gown for Northern California re-enactment events and it was easy to work with and looks great as a gown. Washes and irons really well and holds pleats beautifully. The color was far more earthy than I expected and is more brown than green depending on the light and which colors it´s paired with. All in all, I´m very happy with this fabric! |

This is a 16th century middle-class gown I made for playing at Northern California Renaissance faires. The design is based off a Margo Andersen pattern and my own research. The olive is much browner than I expected and didn't go well with the tawny port color I ordered it with. I paired it with the brighter red in the sleeves to bring out more of the green.
